The Action.NET is a powerful tool/platform for developing and implementing systems for supervision and control of processes and equipment. Action.NET offers a rich, unique and intuitive user interface with dynamic graphics, complemented by a graphical editor, and vast real-time data acquisition capability, by using an extensive library of standard communication protocols in the industry and the electrical sector.

Action.NET’s comprehensive set of features of Action.NET also includes the easy exchange of information and access to data stored on database servers such as Microsoft SQL Server, OSIsoft^(TM) PI Systems, Oracle, Sybase, Informix, MySQL, and others.

The system includes a user-friendly alarm server and event notification module, operations logging and reporting module, an advanced historical data server, business logic management capabilities, as well as support for local and remote clients, based on web browsers, as well as support for mobile devices such as the iPad and iPhone.

Action.NET was built from scratch without using any legacy code. It is a 100% managed code application, which allows you to harness the full potential of the Microsoft .NET Framework, today and in the future. The Action.NET fully supports the Software as a Service (SaaS) evolution, combined with typical local installations, allowing access and collaboration on development projects anywhere, with only one web browser.

Automation engineers can develop SCADA/HMI (Supervision Control and Data Acquisition/Human-Machine Interface) projects that automate a wide variety of functions in any industry and, in particular, the plants in the electrical sector.

IT teams can develop projects that centralize information to send data to portals for management and analysis. In addition, a single project can perform both automation and management functions.

Getting Help

User Guide and Google Search

The Action.NET User Guide is available in PDF and CHM on your local computer and online using standard HTML pages or a single-web interface integrated with Google Translate for multi-language support.

The entry point for all four Help formats is located in the Help > info area in the project workspace configuration. It is also accessible by clicking the Help icon or by pressing F1.

All help formats support context search. You can also do a Google search of spin's website. The advantage of Google search is to include all online help files, plus all content from spin's website, including online forums.

On the Info-Help page, there is a user interface in the Project Setup workspacetworkspausersce to allow you to search on Google on the SPIN website without leaving the Action.NET.There

Online Forum, Email, and Phone

Registered users have free access to the online Forum on spin's website. If you have difficulty creating an account, please email suporte@spinengenharia.com.br. This email account is also the entry point for opening technical support calls to licensed users.

Those who are not yet licensed user and are just evaluating the product are also entitled to support. Submit your questions and requests to info@spinengenharia.com.br.

Licensed users also have access to phone support. Please contact for special agreements regarding out-of-hours support, 24-hour support, or online assistance.

System Integrators and VARs

SPIN has System Integrators and VARs to support integrating companies based on Action.NET. System integrators and VARs are the primary sources of response to specific questions about the configurations and solutions they create themselves, forwarded by end-users.

System Requirements

The technical requirements for the Action.NET are:

• Microsoft .NET Framework v4.6.2,

• Operating systems: Any operating system capable of running Microsoft .NET Framework v4.6.2 or virtual machines compatible with the Microsoft .NET Framework,

• Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2012 all come with Microsoft .NET installed; for Windows XP, you need to install Microsoft. NET Framework v4.0.

• Minimum RAM Requirements: 1 GB Runtime, 2 GB Engineering,

• Disk space: 150 MB,

• Screen resolution: for application development: minimum of 1024 x 768, for real-time application: screens are resolution-independent, allowing you to create applications ranging from small 6" panels to large high-definition displays.

• To gain access to web-based installations, Internet Explorer v8 or later.

Installing Action.NET

The Action.NET is available by download from the website or USB devices. CDs are also available upon request. Express version downloads for trial purposes only do not require an installation license.

The Express version allows up to 75 communication points and two hours of runtime peruse and is intended only for initial product evaluation and learning.

Express versions are not allowed to be sold or applied to projects for installation in production.

The full licensed version has no runtime limitations. For information about purchasing a license, contact your distributor.

If Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) is installed on your computer, a message appears that the embedded web server could not be installed during installation. All features of Action.NET can work without the built-in web server, except for remote access to projects and web pages at runtime. To use such features, you can configure IIS to work comAction.NET.

Use Windows Update to ensure you have all the latest critical updates installed. Some anti-viruses, such as Bit-defender, must be disabled before installing.

Installation

1. For Windows XP users, install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0:

   1. machines with Microsoft Office usually installed already have the framework. If necessary, it can be installed from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851.

2. Double-click the installation:

   1. the Welcome window is displayed.

3. Click Next:

   1. window with the License Agreement is displayed.

   2. Read the License Agreement. If you agree, click Accept and press Next next:

4. The "Select installation folder" window is shown.

• if any software prerequisites are missing, the following elements will be installed:

• Microsoft VC ++ redistributable;

• components of the OPC server;

• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.2.

5. Click Install.

• when the installation is complete, a screen appears informing you of the success of the building, with the buttons:

• Run Action.Net - Press to start the Action.Net

• Close up. - Press to exit the installation.

• In the case of license acquisition, license your installation. For more information, see Licensing Action.NET. In patients without license acquisition, you can use the Express version for evaluation and learning purposes.

Starting the Action.NET

After installing Action.NET, a shortcut appears on your computer's desktop and an item in the Start menu.

To start the Action.NET, follow one of the following:

• from your computer, double-click the Action.NET;

• from the Start menu, select All Spin > > Action.NET;

• The main page of the Action.NET. From it, you can create, open and search for projects. The section Project Management explains how to use the project selection interface.

Open

Licensing Action.NET

Users who have purchased a license can license your installation. After the license has been madepermiticense the key must be registered. Users who have not purchased a license can use the Express version for training and evaluation.

For licensing, you can use a softkey (software protection key). Use the procedure below to upgrade a license to softkey.

To license the Action.NET:

1. Make sure that the logged-in user has local machine administrator privileges.

2. Ensure that the "Never notify" option is selected in the User Account Control settings.

• Go to Control Panel > User Accounts > Change User Account Control settings. In the window that will open, the bar on the left side should be placed in the lower position under "Never notify.” You may need to restart your computer for the notification to take effect.

3. Start Action.NET.

•  See Starting the Action.NET above.

4. On the main Action.NET page, click Licence.

• Or go to Info > Licence> Register while editing a project.

5. Click Get Site Code

Navigate to where you want to save the file, accept the default file name, and click

7. When the confirmation message appears, click OK.

8. After receiving the file with the license key by email, place it in a folder on your computer or network.

9. Start Action.NET.

10. On the main page of Action.NET, click Licence (License).

11th Click LoadLicenseKey (Load License Key).

12. Navigate to the folder with the license key file and select the file.

13. Open Click.

14. Check, under "License Information,” the serial number and new license settings.
